    • The French Hotel Cafe is located in Berkeley, CA on Shattuck. I ordered a small latte and it was delicious! The coffee has a bit of a bite, but in the best possible way. The milk in the latte offset the bitterness perfectly. It was smooth and had a lovely cap of foam in which the barista made a cute teddy bear design. The service was good despite it being being understaffed. A single employee worked behind the counter and  wiped down the tables.
    • Atmosphere: There was a little bit noise from the street, but there are a few tables in the back of the shop if you are easily distracted. If you’re into the European thing, there are also some tables out front on the sidewalk that are prime people watching spots!
    • For Students: FREE WIFI WOOOO!!! Please remain calm.
    • Beverages: Are you thirsty, my friend? There is a variety of coffee and espresso drinks in addition to tea, Italian soda, iced teas, and some juices.
    • Food offerings: There are a variety of sweet and savory foods available for reasonable prices. One breakfast favorite is “The Works” bagel, which is made up of cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and avocados. That’s right, get some! In addition, there are some savory croissant options.
    • Have a sweet tooth? croissants, bundt cake slices, cookies, muffins, turnovers, brownies, and fruit. Indulge in a sweet treat! After all… it’s not for you… it’s for your tooth.
